In the 35th Anniversary year of the Falklands War, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity are pleased to arrange a talk by Peter Richens who was the Company Sergeant Major of B Company 2 PARA during the Falklands campaign.  Peter has a unique insight into the operation, and the conditions endured on the ground, in the 1982 winter campaign in the South Atlantic to restore British Sovereignty.  After the war, he was part of the British Army Presentation Team that toured the United States.

He will be introduced by John Greenhalgh who commanded a flight of Scout helicopters during the operation and was awarded the DFC for attacking and neutralising, under enemy fire, an Argentinian Artillery Battery that was holding up 2 PARA as they advanced.

Doors open at 6:30pm, talk begins at 7pm.

Tickets: £20 each (includes welcome drink on arrival)
